Denise E. 08/03/2015.

My son has been going to Miss Ale’s Home Daycare since the day he turned two years old. Now, he is five and a half and it is time for us to move on to Kindergarten. It is bitter sweet.

Let me start by saying that Miss Ale’s Home Daycare is not just a daycare! It is a daycare, a school, a home and an extended family. I cannot think of ANY daycare facility that offers the love and dedication to the students as we were lucky enough to receive while attending her program.

We are excited about the changes ahead but we are very nervous to have our son leave the loving and nurturing environment he has been blessed with while at Ale’s Home Daycare. I still remember the first day I met Miss Ale and she discussed the daycare’s philosophy on treating the children AND their families as one large family. Well, she was not kidding! I know when my son moves on we will still maintain a close relationship with all the families we have met since then. We have celebrated birthdays and holidays together for years and the bonds that have been formed cannot easily be broken.

One of the most important points to me is that I have never been concerned about my son’s safety or emotional development while in their care. And as a parent, that makes our lives so much calmer. If you know your child is safe and secure then you can go to work with a clear conscious and concentrate on your job better.

At Miss Ale’s Home Daycare the children are provided with all the tools needed to grow physically, emotionally and educationally on a daily basis. They learn discipline in a loving and nurturing environment, where each child is treated with respect. Also, each child is treated as an individual. This was very important to my family. We didn’t want our son just being lumped in with a large group. We wanted him to be treated as an individual and he was. When he excelled at a subject he moved on to the next. When he was slow learning on a subject, he was given extra time to learn the subject matter before moving on. I think this is crucial when children are so young.

This is a tough time for our family as we say goodbye to Miss Ale and her family as our daycare providers. I know finding this family was a blessing for us and more so for our son. It was the exact environment he needed to thrive and become the loving and smart boy he has grown into. I am not sure that he could have received such individualized learning and compassion at a larger facility. I am also not sure he would have gained the confidence needed without being in this type of learning environment.

I will forever be grateful for the years we spent together and for the care and love provided to my boy!!! There are no words that could adequately describe my true appreciation for the years we have spent with you!

My son has learned so much and I’m so thankful. You and your family are a true blessing and I’m so happy that I found you. You will be missed and we will keep in touch. I’d love to continue our relationship and be a part of any events that we are able to attend. I’m already looking forward to the 4 th of July parade.Again, I can’t thank you enough for all that you’ve done. Thank you for being a part of our lives.

Dear friends and FAMILY;

I just wanted to write and say THANK YOU! Thank you for being such an integral part of my daughter's life over the past five years. Your children have become her best buddies and I couldn't have asked for better friends to share her early years with.

I think about how lucky we were to find Ms. Ale five years ago each and every day. At that time, My daughter was staying with my grandma, who was in a wheelchair. As my daughter began to move, we knew it was time to find a more permanent place for her to spend the day. I assumed she would end up in a big facility. I was okay with that.... but having worked in one for many years knew that it wasn't the ultimate place for her. Luckily, one of my colleagues had little Ale in class the previous year and knew that Ms. Ale had opened a daycare. I knew Ms. Ale from when I had Carlos (her son) as a student and said "hey, it's worth a shot."

That shot was the BEST thing that ever happened to my family! Ale and Juan had done so much for not only my daughter, but my family as well. They have been my rock when I was going through trying times and so supportive when we were trying to figure out the medication for my daughter seizures. I know that especially during that time, I couldn't have dream for a better place for her.

As my daughter moves to Kindergarten, I know with such confidence that she is ready for this next adventure. She will miss her friends and the Barranca family immensely (as will I) but because of ALL that they do for our children, she is ready to soar!

I'm not writing this to "toot" Ms. Ale and Juan's horn or to brown nose them, but to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. This family means the world to me. I was blesses to find such a fun, loving and caring family to watch my child. There are no words to express how much I am going to miss them.

You all have been fabulous friends and family to us as well and I THANK YOU for allowing me to be part of your children's lives. I will miss many of the hellos, goodbyes and hugs I get each morning.... even if I have to steal them from some of your kiddos. Just know, this is NOT a goodbye, just a see you later! We will forever be part of Ale's Daycare Family!
