Where Every Child Feels at Home

License Number: 530395-01

Ale's Home Day Care, Inc. offers a safe, nurturing environment where children thrive under experienced and caring guidance.

About Me

My name is Ale M Barranca and I'm a DCFS certified home daycare provider, with over 16 years of experience and 14 years with my DCFS license working with children under the age of 12. I earned my bachelor's degree in 2023 on Pedagogy, also have an Early Childhood Education Administrator and an Assistant Teacher Certificate from Harper College.

My interest in the daycare world sparked not only from taking care of my children, but also from watching over my friends', family and neighbor's little ones. As the years went by, my interest grew and finally in 2008, I decided to work at a Child Day Care Center. I fell in love with the profession.

After two years as the head teacher in the infant room, and more passionate than ever, I decided to open my own daycare at home. And with all my family’s support and help, Ales Home Day Care has been in business since 2010. And my vision has become a reality: provide a welcoming place for everyone, where parents feel safe to leave their children, a place where they know their loved one is in good hands.

What people say about us?

Don't just take it from us

My son has been going to Miss Ale's Home Daycare since the day he turned two years old. Now, he is five and a half and it is time for us to move on to Kindergarten. It is bitter sweet.

Let me start by saying that Miss Ale's Home Daycare is not just a daycare! It is a daycare, a school, a home and an extended family. I cannot think of ANY daycare facility that offers the love and dedication to the students as we were lucky enough to receive while attending her program.

We are excited about the changes ahead but we are very nervous to have our son leave the loving and nurturing environment he has been blessed with while at Ale's Home Daycare. I still remember the first day I met Miss Ale and she discussed the daycare's philosophy on treating the children AND their families as one large family. Well, she was not kidding! I know when my son moves on we will still maintain a close relationship with all the families we have met since then. We have celebrated birthdays and holidays together for years and the bonds that have been formed cannot easily be broken.

My son has learned so much and I'm so thankful. You and your family are a true blessing and I'm so happy that I found you. You will be missed and we will keep in touch. I'd love to continue our relationship and be a part of any events that we are able to attend. I'm already looking forward to the 4th of July parade.Again, I can't thank you enough for all that you've done. Thank you for being a part of our lives.

Dear friends and FAMILY;

I just wanted to write and say THANK YOU! Thank you for being such an integral part of my daughter's life over the past five years. Your children have become her best buddies and I couldn't have asked for better friends to share her early years with.

I think about how lucky we were to find Ms. Ale five years ago each and every day. At that time, My daughter was staying with my grandma, who was in a wheelchair. As my daughter began to move, we knew it was time to find a more permanent place for her to spend the day. I assumed she would end up in a big facility. I was okay with that.... but having worked in one for many years knew that it wasn't the ultimate place for her. Luckily, one of my colleagues had little Ale in class the previous year and knew that Ms. Ale had opened a daycare. I knew Ms. Ale from when I had Carlos (her son) as a student and said "hey, it's worth a shot."
